If you're looking for the definition of lit, this is definitely it.

Another hotly contested chapter of the spicy El Trafico series takes center stage in the late matches, with the Galaxy hoping for a repeat performance from the last time these sides met.

The Galaxy, winners of three consecutive matches, notched a shocking 2-0 victory against its city rival at more than +700 odds on the moneyline in their latest tussle. Most recently, Los Angeles held on for a 3-2 win against host Portland last weekend at Providence Park.

Needless to say, LAFC manager Bob Bradley and his club will be looking to exact some revenge on the road at Dignity Health Sports Park. The visitors cruised to a 5-1 win against San Jose on Wednesday and should be licking their chops in what will be the third meeting of the year between these clubs.

When it comes to data, LAFC have strong numbers with 8.7 expected goals and 6.0 expected goals against for a +2.7 xGDiff number, along with a +0.54 xGDiff/90 minutes.

Expected goals (also known as xG) is an advanced statistic that gives an indication of whether results are based on sustainable factors like a steady creation of scoring chances, or whether it is down to aspects such as luck or outstanding goalkeeping.

As for the Galaxy, the host has even better stats (7.6 xGF/4.7 xGA for +2.9 xGDiff and +0.60 xGDiff/90) and carry an overall edge into this game.

With everything in mind, I am expecting fireworks in Southern California and will back the total going over the number. Both clubs seem to have to their offensives clicking, combining for eight goals in their last two respective games.

I don't expect either to bounce off those efforts and anticipate a plethora of goals in this showdown. If you can hold off for a better number at three goals via a live play, it might be worth the risk.

If you're looking for a side, sprinkle a little on LAFC to win outright.

The Bet: Total Over 3.5 Goals (-148); LAFC -122

Expansion clubs Inter Miami and Nashville SC highlight the early part of Sunday's card. It will mark second meeting between the sides in their brief histories, with Nashville SC earning a 1-0 victory a week ago today at Nissan Stadium.

Inter Miami comes into the match fresh off a scoreless draw against Atlanta United earlier in the week. On the other side, Nashville SC settled for a 1-1 draw against Orlando City in its most recent fixture.

Looking at the data and statistics, Inter Miami boasts some solid numbers with 6.8 expected goals and 5.7 expected goals against for a +1.1 xGDiff number, along with a +0.21 xGDiff/90 minutes.

In contrast, Nashville SC is fairly even with its foe in the same categories (8.2 xGF/7.5 xGA for +0.7 xGDiff and +0.09 xGDiff/90) and should bare well for the Western Conference club.

With that in mind, I look for Inter Miami to exact some revenge here and pick up all three points. Newly-signed star Blaise Matuidi is available to play — likely in a reserve role — for the Eastern Conference newbie, which should give the host an edge in this spot.

Inter Miami is also coming off its first clean sheet of its campaign, which has to have it feeling confident going against a Nashville SC side that's only mustered five goals in eight contests this season.

The Bet: Inter Miami -103
