David Gertler

David Gertler is a women's tennis contributor for The Action Network, writing about WTA matches around the globe. He is a long-time tennis writer, previously writing for his All About Tennis Blog, Last Word on Tennis and Cracked Racquets. He joined Action in 2022. 

Gertler has written hundreds of tennis articles for various websites since 2012, and he is excited to be continuing to write about the sport for The Action Network. He has been a podcast guest for the Cracked Racquets podcasts, which are a part of the Tennis Channel Podcast Network. Gertler has been writing tennis articles for Action since January 2022.

Gertler has a BA from the University of Michigan where he studied psychology. He then went on to get his MEd from Vanderbilt University. He watched and wrote about tennis throughout his higher education experiences.
