Katie is the Director of Talent Recruitment & Content Strategy for the Action Network, where she sets the hiring agenda for content creators as well as the cross-platform strategy. An experienced content strategist with a background in editorial management, Katie has been at the forefront of innovation in digital sports media since 2015. After kickstarting her career on Bleacher Report's industry-leading social media team, she went on to help lead national coverage of the NFL at ESPN.com before joining the Action Network, where she has contributed to the startup's emergence as the leader in sports betting media.
Education
Katie graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in journalism and a minor in political science. When she wasn't found on the sideline of her university's athletic events or in the student newspaper office, she was interning at various Southern California media outlets, including the LA Daily News and the ABC news station in Los Angeles.
