Here's everything you need to know about the Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois odds for Saturday, January 21.

If you love classic heavyweight boxing, then Ihave a fight for you!

Bubois and Joshua will engage in what could be one of 2024's most explosive fights in the glamour weight class.

Heavyweight boxing is alive and features Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs) defending his IBF Title against Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) in what's expected to be a sold-out Wembley Stadium in London.

Between these two, we have 54 fights and 45 knockout victories, including a combined three knockout losses.

This fight feels a lotcloser than the odds suggest, given the small margin of error on each side. That said, Joshua is clearly the superior heavyweight, but in the ultimate weight class, where it trulyonly takes one punch for anything to change, here's what you need to know heading into the bout.

Here's my Joshua vs. Dubois pick and prediction for Saturday evening.

Bryan Fonseca's Breakdown & Analysis

Joshua is the best he's been since before losing to Andy Ruiz over five years ago in arguably the biggest boxing upset this century.

Joshua is the big favorite because he's been there, is more accomplished and has been better for a longer period of time.

At 6-foot-6 with an 82-inch reach, Joshua has been using his range in more recent outings. We can't use Francis Ngannou as a barometer for anything, but against Otto Wallin and Jermaine Franklin, Joshua boxed methodically.

He established his jab and distance, looked to counter and broke Wallin down. He pounced when he had the opening to finish.

Franklin wasn't so charitable with said opening and gave Joshua tough rounds, despite being 6-foot-3 with a 77-inch reach.

The former unified heavyweight champion has won four straight since his back-to-back losses to Oleksandr Usyk.

Dubois, however, is a class above everyone Joshua's gone through since the Usyk losses — and he's also beaten better fighters as of late.

Dubois is on his own renascence, having navigated early trouble in each of his past two bouts to record a stoppage both times.

The 6-foot-5 heavyweight with a 78-inch reach was stopped by Usyk in Round 9 of their bout last August, in which many contested that Dubois should've won on a body shot KO that was actually called a low blow.

Since then, he stopped a tough Jarrell Miller in the 10th and final round of their December 2023 bout.

Dubois then stopped undefeated (and favored) Filip Hrgovic in Round 8 in his best career performance in a high-leverage situation, winning the IBF Interim Heavyweight Title, and has since been upgraded to full champion.

Dubois' only decision victory was in October of 2018. He's been in 14 fights since that all ended by KO.

His other stoppage loss? Joe Joyce KO'd him in Round 10 of an All-British heavyweight showdown in November 2020.

Joshua vs. Dubois Prediction & Pick

I have one pick and one long shot sprinkle for this bout.

The pick most will look to is Joshua by KO/TKO and for good reason, but you'll often see it at -220 or so. When there's a truelive heavyweight underdog, I generally hesitate to play such a number in what expects to be a true slugfest, but I'll acknowledge it's the outcome with the greatest percentage chance of all those possible.

My pick doesn't deter tremendously from that and comes with a safeguard at a better number.

I'm going over 1.5 knockdowns for this fight, which is -140 on FanDuel. I don'tthink this goesto distance, and I give both sides credit.Joshua's been dropped five times in his career, and has gotten up every time — though the ref stopped him in the fifth.

And Dubois has been through recent adversity in back-to-backfights. He also got up from three first-round knockdowns against Kevin Lerena in a nearly disasterous performance, which he avenged with a third-round stoppage win less than two years ago.

Additionally, I'll sprinkle on Dubois to win by KO/TKO at +600. It'll be maybe 0.2 of a unit at most, but this is the type of fight where you want in on someone with a puncher's chance, even if it means hedging smartly.

Joshua vs. Dubois Pick: Over 1.5 knockdowns (-140 on FanDuel)

Long shot: Daniel Dubois by KO/TKO (+600 on FanDuel)
