Danny Garcia (36-3, 21 KO) the former two-division champion at 140 and 147 pounds returns to the ring after a 19 month layoff to face challenger Jose Benavidez (27-1-1, 18 KO) at 154 pounds. The main event matchup takes place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn and will be Garcia's first fight at super welterweight.
While there is no fight on the line for either man, this fight gives both men a new challenge after they each lost to top fighters at welterweight in recent years. With years of high level success on his resume, Garcia in particular has an opportunity to rise up the 154-pound rankings and try to win a title in a third division.
The main card will begin at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime with the main event expected to start around 11 p.m. on Saturday night. You can find the fight odds, props and more for Saturday's matchup below.
