Sportsbooks are offering odds on this fight (they don't always for these celebrity/YouTuber matches). But some states are not permitting it. FanDuel, DraftKings and other sportsbooks in states like New York, Pennsylvania, Colorado and Connecticut cannot offer it due to gaming regulators feeling uncomfortable about its legitimacy.

If you're not in a legal betting state or your state is not offering this fight at your normal sportsbooks, you can use a DFS site or a social sportsbook to play this fight:

Paul actually began this week as a bigger favorite, but his price has come down over the last few days as money pours in on Tyson.

What Other Props Are Available?

At BetMGM, DraftKings and other legal U.S. operators, you can bet a number of props, including:

  • Method of victory (Paul by KO/TKO/DQ is +150)
  • Total knockdowns o/u 2.5 (over +500, under -900)
  • Will the fight go the distance (+150 yes, -200 no)
  • Three-way line with a draw included, meaning you'd lose on the draw (unless you bet it at +900)

Fight Rules

Part of the reason why some states are not allowing bets on this fight is because of the rule changes. The fighters will wear 14-ounce gloves instead of the traditional 10-ounce, and the rounds will be 2 minutes instead of 3 minutes. The full rules:

  • Knockouts are allowed
  • Officially sanctioned as a professional fight.
  • 2-minute rounds
  • 8 rounds total
  • No headgear
  • 14-ounce gloves

Where Can I Bet Tyson vs. Paul?

There are three legal options to bet this fight.

1. Traditional online sportsbooks: Operators like DraftKings and FanDuel are live in 20+ states, with operators like bet365 in 10+ states. Some states like New Jersey have almost 20 sportsbook options; others like Oregon, New Hampshire or Rhode Island have just 1-2.

2. DFS Pick'em: DFS pick'em is a new form of daily fantasy sports that isn't based on a salary cap, but instead requires you to build a lineup based on player stats. So for this fight, you can choose stats like total punches landed, fight time, total knockdowns, etc., and put them together for a bigger payout.

3. Sweepstakes sportsbooks: These platforms look like a traditional sportsbook but the mechanism to get money on the platform is different. You make a purchase, are gifted an on-site currency, and then can make picks with that on-site currency.

Fliff (available in 40+ states) is the leader in this space; Rebet and Thrillzz are also options, depending on where you're located.
