Two former title holders will go head-to-head in the ring Saturday night in Tulsa, OK. Former two-division champion, Jose Pedraza (29-4, 14 KO), and former lightweight champion, Richard Commey (30-4, 27 KO), are set to go 10 rounds as headliners for this weekend's boxing card on ESPN.

Both men are coming off a loss to top tier opponents in their most recent fights — Pedraza lost by unanimous decision to Jose Ramirez and Commey lost by decision to Vasily Lomachenko.

FighterOddsProbability
Pedraza-27569.44%
Commey+21030.56%

As noted above, both men are coming off losses entering this fight, but Commey is moving up in weight to fight at the 140-pound limit. Commey is the underdog ahead of the matchup, but he's got the edge in power despite the fact that he's jumping into a heavier weight division. All five of his wins dating back to 2018 have come by way of knockout.

Pedraza, who has been fighting at 140 pounds since 2019, isn't known for his power, but he makes up for it with his pure boxing skill. He also has the experience edge with a 4-2 record in title fights and oddsmakers have him pegged as a strong favorite.

This fight is expected to go the distance with the odds listed at -330 that it reaches the cards and -380 that it goes over 8.5 rounds. It should be noted that Commey's odds to win by knockout and his odds to win in Rounds 1-8 are all shorter than Pedraza's, which could be a sign that oddsmakers are aware of Commey's power advantage.
