Bonus Play Through Requirements

The Borgata Poker bonus code and Welcome Offer is similar to the PartyPoker bonus code. Players earn points to release their Bonus Dollars as withdrawable cash. Borgata uses a 14x increment amount for bonus payouts. Your increment amount gets multiplied by 14 Borgata Rewards Points.

For example, the minimum deposit of $10 comes with $1 payouts. To release $1, you’ll need 14 BRPs. A $20 deposit with $2 payouts gets released via increments of 28 BRPs.

If you deposit $50, you’ll get $5 payouts – with every 70 BRPs that you earn. A $500 deposit comes with $50 payouts – with increments of 700 BRPs.

The max deposit of $1,000 pays out in $100 increments. Earn 1,400 BRPs to unlock each $100. Play cash games and tournaments to collect BRPs. Contributed rake and antes earn you points.

From the How To Play tab, you may download the Poker Player’s Guide. This is a great resource for beginners or those who want to brush up on their poker skills.

Get a breakdown of every online tournament from the Tournaments section.

Click the Promotions tab to see all the latest Borgata offers. Opt in to promos from Casino, Sports, Poker, and MGM Rewards. There are even Bingo promos.

From the Banking tab, you’ll get an overview on How to Make a Deposit. (See below.)

Web Experience: Borgata Poker easily beats FanDuel

  • Category: Web Experience
  • Comparison: Borgata Poker vs. FanDuel Casino
  • Measured: Games Offered, Interface

FanDuel is a major competitor of the BetMGM/Borgata brand. How does FanDuel stack up against Borgata Poker?

Both companies offer Casino and Sportsbook options for gamblers. The Borgata casino comes accessible from the Borgata Poker Lobby. Web experience for poker players at Borgata also remains top notch.

Poker options at FanDuel are quite slim. In fact, you’ll only find video poker games to choose from. The Live Casino offers a Three Card Poker option as well. You’ll get a typical online casino experience from FanDuel.

MGM/Borgata fall under the umbrella of the biggest gambling companies in the world. With Borgata, NJ players get the best poker experience in the business. Online poker players in Pennsylvania also get access to Borgata Poker.

Play Cash games, Fast Forward, Sit & Go, and Tourneys at Borgata. Compete for daily and weekly prize pools in the 10s of thousands. Use the partypoker software, a sister company – and one of the most trusted poker brands.

When it comes to poker at Borgata, FanDuel doesn’t compare.

Borgata Poker Game Selection undefined

If you want to skip the How to Play section, check out the game selection from the poker Lobby. The top of the screen shows tabs for Poker, Casino, Sports, and Promotions.

You’ll also see categories for Cash, Fast Forward, Sit & Go, Spins, and Tourneys. Click one to view the game selection.

Also, at the right-hand side, you’ll see a trophy icon for My Tourneys. Next to that, you’ll see a wheel icon for Settings. From there, change basic settings or upload an image.

Under the Theme tab (Settings), you may Select Table Preferences. There are also Interactive Features, Advanced Settings, Table options, and Bet Slider tweaks.

Multi-tabling allows you to arrange Action alerts, Table sorting, and Hot hand Settings. Hot hand alerts “buzz” the table based on hole cards, large pots, and raise sequences. This is a great feature for those who like to play more than one table at a time.

Cash Games

From the Cash tab, you’ll see Game Type. Available games include Hold’em and Omaha. Choose from different options for Buy-in Range and Seats.

Under that, you’ll see an orange box that says Quick Seat. This gives you a seat right away at a table based on your settings. You may also select Show: Empty tables and/or Full tables.

There’s also a Group box to show tables grouped by Stakes and Buy-in. Deselect the Group box to see tables organized by Name. From there, you’ll see Average Pot and Players/Flop for each table. Both options show Players/Seats and Hands/hour.

To enter a table, choose Play Now, Open Table, or double click it. Once you enter the table, you’ll see a Join Table button. You can also click the Join Table button from the Lobby.

Play at tables with anywhere from 2-9 seats. Buy-in Range options get organized as follows:

  • Micro ($10 and under)
  • Low ($12.50 - $50)
  • Medium ($50 - $200)
  • High ($250 - $1,000)
  • High Roller ($1,000+)
  • Custom ($0 - $80k)

Texas Hold ‘em

When it comes to playing Texas Hold’em online at Borgata, chances are you’ll find plenty of No Limit (NL) options. Fixed Limit (FL) Hold’em might be harder to come by.

Deselect the ‘Empty tables’ box, with the ‘Group’ box checked. Organize tables by Type, Stakes, and Buy-in. You’ll see options with active players. Tables get shown by Name at the right-hand side of the screen.

We recommend joining a table that suits your bankroll. Also, you’ll want to consider how much time you’ll be spending at the table. Set some win/loss limits as well.

A $0.02/$0.04 No Limit Hold’em table requires a $1.20 minimum buy-in. The max buy-in is $4. We saw an average pot of $1 with 171 hands per hour.

You won’t get much action or expertise at a Micro table. A $0.10/$0.25 table at a $25 max buy-in may help you to gain some experience. We recommend Low or Medium stakes to get started. Find a table that keeps your interest, without pushing your bankroll to the limit. The difference between a $100 and $200 max buy-in might surprise you.

For example, we saw an average pot of around $15 for $0.50/$1 stakes. Compare that to $65 for $1/$2 stakes.

High stakes at a $2.50/$5 table comes with a $150 minimum buy-in and $500 max. If you stick to the $1/$2 table – you might get the same pot potential, capped at a $200 buy-in.

Learn how to pick your spots for tables as much as your in-game strategy.

If you’ve got a small bankroll, with time to spare, lower stakes may suit you fine. Looking to take down a few decent pots in a short amount of time? We recommend joining a higher stakes table with better pot averages.

Play Limit Hold’em if you’ve got the patience for longer sessions.

Omaha

Choose from Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) and Omaha Hi-Lo (PLO8) cash games. You’ll find the same stakes as the Hold’em tables. Depending on what time you play, you may find more action at PLO tables.

We recommend Micro or Low stakes at PLO8 for beginners. Learn about split-pots for increasing your chances to win. Medium stakes Omaha ($50 - $200) might be a decent starting point for more advanced players. Buy-ins range from $30 to $200.

If your initial deposit falls between $500 - $1,000, try High stakes. Buy-ins at High Roller tables start at $750 and go up to $2,000. At those levels, you’re ready to compete at Multi-Table Tournaments.

Multi-Table Tournaments

As with most online poker platforms, Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs) remain the most popular. They offer challenging, fun, and rewarding experiences.

From Borgata’s offers, we mentioned some of the ongoing tournaments. On a Monday, we saw dozens of tournament options from early morning until 11 PM.

Here’s a brief look at some of the online MTTs at Borgata.

Old School Tournament (NL)

The Old School Tournament starts each Tuesday at 7:30 PM. Buy-in for $35 to begin with 7,500 chips.

Progressive Knockout Bounty Tournaments (NL)

New Jersey Poker 6-Figure Sunday Tournament (NL)

With a $1,000 buy-in for 100,000 chips, play begins at 6 PM.

Can’t afford the buy-in? Look for qualifiers or satellites instead for a potential entry into the tournament.

The tournament series lasts until December 23, 2022.

New Jersey Poker Monster Mondays (NL)

The Monster Monday Tournament also starts in January 2023. Buy-in for $50 and 75,000 in chips. Play begins every Monday at 6:30 PM throughout the year.

Compete within a guaranteed $3,000 prize pool.

Daily Tournaments

Borgata Online Poker lists 36 Daily Tournaments. With a vast majority of NL Hold’em options, you’ll find Featured Daily Tournaments running day and night.

From Monday through Saturday, buy-ins start as low as $2.

Play a $200 GTD Turbo Re-Entry at midnight. Or buy-in for $215 to enter a $3,000 GTD Turbo 1x Re-Entry. The tournament begins at 9:30 PM.

You’ll find hourly NL tournaments between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Play a PLO8 6-Max for $10 at 1:30 PM. Four more NL tournaments take place between 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM. A PLO Turbo tournament starts at 3:45 PM for $2.

From 4:00 PM - 8:15 PM, choose from about 10 different NL tournaments. Prize pools at these time slots range from $250 - $10,000. (10K Gtd 2x Re-Entry - $109 buy-in - starts at 7:00 PM.)

At 8:30 PM, play a $500 Gtd 6-Max PLO for $20. A PLO8 6-Max starts at 9:30 for the same buy-in. Another one begins at 11:15 PM for $2.

Choose from almost a dozen more NL tournaments between 8:30 PM and 1:30 AM.

Check the poker Lobby for tournament details and availability.

Daily Tournaments may pertain to your jurisdiction.

Featured Sunday Tournaments

You’ll find plenty of similar options on the Featured Sunday Tournaments schedule. These tourneys begin at 12:30 AM with a $150 Gtd Turbo for $5. They peak at 5:00 PM with the SUNDAY $35K Gtd 3x Re-Entry.

If you can’t afford the $215 buy-in, you’ll find 26 options that cost less than $50.

Other highlights include the SUNDAY STARTER $3K Gtd 2x Re-Entry. The tournament begins at 4:00 PM. Buy-in for $55 and play for a $3,000 prize pool.

For Omaha players, there’s a Bounty: Sunday PLO. Buy-in for $35 and get rolling at 8:00 PM.

Featured Daily Specials

You’ll find an adjusted schedule for Featured Daily Specials. They run from 12 AM to 11:30 PM. Buy-ins range from $2 to $535. Guaranteed prize pools start at $150 and reach up to $12,000.

On a daily basis, you’ll find plenty of online MTTs at Borgata for every kind of player.

Other Games

Play Fast Forward (NLH) by clicking the tab from the poker Lobby. Each time you fold a hand, you’ll get moved to a new table for a new hand. Game settings also allow you to ‘Forward Fold’ or ‘Fold and Watch.’

Per the Fast Forward rules, you may play up to four hands at once. Choose from NL Hold’em or PLO tables. Stakes get fixed at $0.05/$0.10 and $0.25/$0.50.

Buy-ins begin with a one seat, $3 minimum. They go up to nine seats with a $10 max for a total of $90. If you’re short on time or you prefer quick action – Fast Forward might work best for you.

Another option – Sit & Go tournaments – are as diverse as MTTs. With two or six players per table, these tourneys finish within an hour. (Some tables may have up to 10 players.)

Buy-ins range from as little as $1 and reach up to $500. Prize pools begin at around $5 and go up to $1,140. Most Sit & Gos get played at Turbo speed – where blinds increase rather quickly. Play these tourneys to hone your skills for MTTs.

You’ll also find a Spins category via the Borgata poker Lobby. These come as fast-paced tourneys played at Hyper Turbo speed. Buy-ins range from $1 - $25. Compete for prize pools that start at $1,000 and reach up to $25,000. On the side-bar, the $25 Spins shows a prize pool of $30,000.

That depends on the multiplier for your Spins tourney. Multipliers range from 25x to 1,200x. Once three players fill the table, the table spins to reveal the prize pool. Players start with 500 chips and blinds get raised every three minutes. From the poker Lobby, choose anywhere from one to 12 Number of Games to play.

Read the Spins tourneys page to learn more.
