Grammy Odds
Taylor Swift could make history on Sunday night if she were to win the Grammy for Album of the Year. A win would be her fourth award in the category, making her the most-decorated artist in history. She is currently tied atop the leaderboard with Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder. Swift previously won Album of the Year for Fearless, 1989, and Folklore.
Swift is a strong favorite to do just that, as her -400 odds imply an 80% chance of taking home the award. Those odds mean a $100 wager on Swift would net $25 in winnings.
Right behind Swift on the oddsboard is SZA, who is also trying to make her own kind of history. A SZA win would make her the first Black woman to win in the category since Lauryn Hill did it in 25 years ago in 1999.
At +400 odds, a $100 bet on SZA would net the bettor $400.
Another category where we find Taylor Swift as the favorite, this would be a first for her. Swift has previously been nominated for Song of the Year six times, but has yet to win the Grammy in this category. Her previous nominations were for: You Belong with Me (2010), Shake It Off (2015), Blank Space (2016), Lover (2020), Cardigan (2021), and All Too Well (2023).
Her odds aren't quite as strong as in the Album of the Year category, however. At -150, the implied probability of her taking home this award for her hit, Anti Hero, is 60%. A $100 wager on Swift would net the bettor $66.67.
Right behind Swift is Billie Eilish for her song, What Was I Made For, from the movie Barbie. Eilish has been nominated in this category three previous times, taking home the win in 2020 for her song, Bad Guy. Her other previous nominations were for Everything I Wanted (2021), and Happier Than Ever (2022).
At +125 odds, a $100 wager on Eilish for Song of the Year would net bettors $125 in winnings.
As you'll notice, the list of nominees here is vastly similar to that of Song of the Year. The difference is that while Song of the Year is awarded based on the artist and writing and composition of a song, Record of the Year deals with the artist alongside the producers, sound engineers, and sound mixers who make the song happen.
Once again, we find ourselves with Taylor Swift as the favorite at -133 to take home this award, which is an implied probability of 57.14%. A $100 wager on Swift in this category would net bettors $75.19.
This is another category where Swift has yet to bring home a Grammy. She has been nominated four times previously: You Belong with Me (2010), We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (2013), Shake It Off (2015) and Blank Space (2016).
While Billie Eilish is the favorite in Song of the Year, Miley Cyrus leapfrogs her on the odds board in Record of the Year for her song, Flowers. At +175, a bet on Cyrus would net $175 in winnings.
Cyrus has never won a Grammy in any category.
Victoria Monét is a strong favorite in this category as the 34-year-old singer and songwriter is nominated in seven categories total, including Record of the Year.
Her -133 odds in this category give her an implied probability of 57.14% to take home the award. A $100 wager on her would net a bettor $75.19 in winnings.
Right behind Monét is another breakout star, Ice Spice. The 24-year-old is nominated in four categories total, including Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Taylor Swift for Karma.
At +125, a $100 wager on Ice Spice would net bettors $125.
