Monday marks the 25th anniversary of the premiere of the movie "Jerry Maguire," the story of the life of a sports agent, but really just the story of life. Starring Tom Cruise, Renee Zellweger, Cuba Gooding Jr., Regina King, Kelly Preston, Jay Mohr and Jerry O'Connell, the movie pulled in $273 million worldwide.

Tom Cruise won the Golden Globe for Best Actor for the film, Cuba Gooding Jr. won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and "Show Me The Money!" became part of all-time film lore.

Obsessed with the movie, I bought movie props, a Rod Tidwell jersey produced that year and I bought a copy of the mission statement that Jerry wrote to his agency. The mission statement wasn't just something that appeared in bits and pieces in the film, it was actually fully written by director Cameron Crowe.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary, I asked Crowe if I had permission to publish the document to the masses and fortunately he obliged.

Please enjoy the entire Jerry Maguire mission statement sent to the employees of Sports Management International.
