One of the biggest questions for fantasy football managers on Sunday in Week 8 is what to do with Dallas Cowboys players amid the uncertainty surrounding Dak Prescott.
Prescott is listed as questionable with a calf injury and seems like a true game-time decision. The problem for fantasy managers is that game isn't until Sunday Night Football, which is too late for many to decide on roster spots.
Our current rankings have downgraded Prescott into the 20s as he'll either be out or at least limited. If Prescott doesn't play, the offense will be in the hands of Cooper Rush.
What does that mean for top receivers CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper and others? Let's take a look.
Cowboys Fantasy Rankings in Week 8
Lamb is the top-ranked receiver for Dallas, coming in at WR19 in our consensus rankings. That's ahead of Rams receiver Robert Woods and Bills receiver Emmanuel Sanders. Our PRO subscribers can see the full list, including the projected fantasy points for standard, PPR and half-PPR scoring leagues.
Cooper is behind Lamb at WR27 after catching five balls for 55 yards against the Patriots before the bye week. His ranking puts him ahead of Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith and Seahawks threat Tyler Lockett, who is more popular with Chris Raybon than Sean Koerner.
A potential Prescott absence could also impact running backs. Ezekiel Elliott is not a top-10 running back this week in our rankings. His backup — Tony Pollard — has potential as well and could be more involved in the passing game. He's a top-40 option this week.
