"Streaming" quarterbacks, defenses and kickers has been a fantasy football strategy I've successfully used for years. I've parlayed that success into weekly recommendations for those three positions as well as tight end — a position I don't recommend streaming week-to-week, though still offer recommendations for fantasy players who may need a short-term rental.
Note that these players are rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues as of writing on Tuesday, but that these recommendations do not mean that they are the best streamer play for your league — be sure to check my up-to-the-minute rankings to see who the best available player is in your league.
Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa vs. Jets (34%)
Tua opens the week as my QB10 and my top streaming option. Getting DeVante Parker back, close to 100% health, following the Dolphins' Week 14 bye helps raise Tagovailoa's weekly ceiling.
The Dolphins' RB depth chart is in flux right now, with both Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed on the COVID list. It's a situation that could force the Dolphins to lean on Tua even more in a mouth-watering matchup against a Jets defense that ranks 32nd in DVOA.
Dolphins Defense vs Jets (50%)
The Dolphins are the top streaming option at DEF this week. They are available in half of Yahoo! leagues but will likely require a small FAAB bid to add.
If you don't have access to the Dolphins or want to go with a defense that likely won't require any FAAB to obtain, the Jaguars are a sneaky play this week with a great matchup against Davis Mills and the Texans. It sounds gross, but you could do worse.
49ers K Robbie Gould vs. Falcons (25%)
This week, the 49ers have the third-highest implied team total, meaning Gould should see plenty of scoring opportunities.
Of course, we are at the time of year where the weather could play a role in any outdoor games, so be sure to check my updated rankings before locking in your K slot this week.
Vikings TE Tyler Conklin at Bears (47%)
Tyler Conklin had a disappointing 2/20/0 line in Week 14, despite Adam Thielen being unable to play. However, if Thielen is held out again in Week 15, we should be able to trust Conklin as a TE1/2 option.
If Thielen ends up making a return this week, I would roll with whichever available TE I have ranked the highest. David Njoku has the potential to shoot up into the TE1/2 range if he's able to return from COVID and Jarvis Landry and Austin Hooper end up getting ruled out.
