Monday Night Football for Week 15 of the NFL season gives us an NFC clash between the Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers.
I have two players to target — one from each team — in this game. These players aren’t the flashiest of names and are more bargain-bin guys who could surprise.
WR Tutu Atwell
The 2021 second-round pick has seen his route participation rate grow over the last three games (47% to 51% to 63%).
Atwell’s underlying usage is the best of both worlds, as he gets targeted at an extremely high rate per route (27%) and has an absurdly high aDOT (21.7). He has quietly posted 48 or more receiving yards in four of his last six games, and 36% of his receptions have gone for 20-plus yards.
WR Randall Cobb
Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris runs one of the more zone-heavy schemes in the NFL. That makes Cobb an attractive play, as he leads Packers pass-catchers with 2.14 yards per route run versus zone.
Cobb has also gotten a crack at returning punts with Amari Rodgers no longer on the team.
