Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson Jr. is unlikely to play Monday night against the Arizona Cardinals after being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
It's important to note that while it's tough to see Henderson clearing COVID-19 protocols quickly enough to suit up for Monday Night Football, he still hasn’t been officially ruled out.
Obviously, this means fantasy football managers should expect Sony Michel to get the start for the Rams, clearly increasing his value in Week 14.
But still, while it’s highly unlikely Henderson sees the field, the fact that he plays Monday does muddy the waters a bit as fantasy football managers planning on plugging Michel into their lineups should ensure they have a backup plan.
With all of the information above in mind, we turned to fantasy football expert Sean Koerner regarding where Michel lands in his updated fantasy football Week 14 rankings.
Start or Sit Sony Michel in Fantasy Football?
As expected, Koerner is very bullish on Michel's fantasy football prospects, not only for Week 14, but also for the rest of the season:
"Sony Michel went off for 121 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries in a spot start for Darrell Henderson Jr. last week.
With Henderson out again this week due to COVID-19, I'm treating Michel as a low-end RB1. As I hinted last week, Michel may be the lead back even once Henderson returns to action."
