"Streaming" quarterbacks, defenses and kickers has been a fantasy football strategy I've successfully used for years.
I've parlayed that success into a series of weekly recommendations of the top streaming options at those three positions as well as tight end — a position I don't recommend streaming week-to-week — which can be of assistance in a pinch.
The concept behind streaming is that you add someone for a given week based on the matchup, rather than putting the emphasis behind a player's long-term projection.
Note that these players are rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues, but that these recommendations do not mean that they are the best streamer play for your league — be sure to check my up-to-the-minute rankings to see who the best available player is in your league.
Read on for my Week 8 streaming analysis.
Giants QB Daniel Jones @ SEA (41% rostered)
Jones came through for us last week, posting the third-best QB score for Week 7, and I’m sticking with him again this week.
He carries a ton of rushing upside as we saw last week, where he posted a 100+ yard rushing game. Plus, we could see his passing production increase over the coming weeks with Wan’Dale Robinson now fully healthy and Kadarius Toney possibly returning soon as well.
The Giants are likely going to encounter a trailing game script at some point, aiding Jones' passing stats. This could be a true ceiling game from Jones this week against a weaker Seahawks defense.
Broncos TE Greg Dulcich @ JAX (13%)
Much like Jones, I’m sticking with Dulcich as my top streaming option this week. He posted a solid six catch, 51 yards receiving line last week despite having Brett Rypien under center.
Dulcich's underlying usage has been excellent in his first two games. He's averaging a 75% route participation rate and a 19.7% target rate. If Russell Wilson breaks out of his slump, we could see Dulcich settle in as a top 10 option.

Vikings K Greg Joseph vs. ARI (18%)
The Vikings have the fourth-highest team total this week, so Joseph should see plenty of scoring opportunities. Plus, we are entering the time of year where it’s nice having a kicker who will be playing in a dome.
Jaguars DEF vs. DEN (27%)
The Jags have struggled of late, but a London game against the Broncos could help get them back on track.
Wilson’s status for this week is still up in the air, so we could see Brett Rypien for at least one more game. I like the idea of stashing the Jaguars' defense early in the week and if Wilson ends up suiting up we could potentially pivot to a different unit.
