"Streaming" quarterbacks, defenses and kickers has been a fantasy football strategy I've successfully used for years. I've parlayed that success into weekly recommendations for those three positions as well as tight end — a position I don't recommend streaming week-to-week, though still offer recommendations for fantasy players who may need a short-term rental.
Note that these players are rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues as of writing on Tuesday, but that these recommendations do not mean that they are the best streamer play for your league — be sure to check my up-to-the-minute rankings to see who the best available player is in your league.
Giants QB Daniel Jones at KC (28%)
Daniel Jones has a fantastic matchup against the Chiefs. He carries low-end QB1 upside if Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard and Kadarius Toney return this week. If we get word that all three will remain out again, I would pivot to the highest-ranked QB (check my up-to-the-minute rankings here) available in your league.
Bengals Defense at NYJ (21%)
This week, the Bengals are such a no-brainer play against QB Mike White and the Jets; I would be willing to bid a few FAAB to lock their defense up if you are in a tight matchup this week.
Bengals K Evan McPherson at NYJ (8%)
The Bengals are 10-point favorites against the Jets this week, meaning McPherson should get plenty of scoring opportunities.
Chargers TE Jared Cook vs. NE (44%)
A lot of fantasy managers dropped Cook last week due to the Chargers being on a bye. But I wouldn't break the bank to add him this week as you should be able to get Dan Arnold for free (available in 96% of leagues), who I'm currently ranking just one slot lower.
