bet365 has partnered with a horse betting provider to launch the product in eligible states.

The sportsbook operator has partnered with 1/ST TECHNOLOGY to permit wagering on horse racing in states such as North Carolina, Arizona, Colorado and Louisiana.

“We’re delighted to partner with 1/ST TECHNOLOGY in a milestone announcement for bet365," a spokesperson for the sportsbook said in a statement. "The partnership marks a significant advancement in our US expansion, showcasing our commitment to innovation and customer experience.”

The news comes a few weeks after the sportsbook launched its operations in North Carolina, adding to its portfolio of states that includes Arizona, Colorado, New Jersey, Louisiana, Ohio, Virginia, Iowa, Indiana and Kentucky.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to partner with one of the premier brands in sports betting and for 1/ST BET to showcase its best-in-class pari-mutuel horse racing wagering experience to bet365’s customers," said Keith Johnson, the chief revenue officer for 1/ST TECHNOLOGY, in a statement.

The launch comes ahead of the Triple Crown for the sport, the first of which will take place on the weekend of May 3rd with the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby.

Following that, the the Preakness Stakes will be held in June.

Then, the Belmont Stakes will be held later that same month. That race will take place outside of its regular confines on Long Island and will take place upstate in Saratoga Springs amid renovations to the Belmont Park racetrack.
