Caesars Sportsbook in Colorado was down for at least eight hours on Wednesday afternoon, in the midst of the Australian Open and the start of several NHL and NBA games.
A representative from the sportsbook only confirmed that the site was back up in Colorado when prompted for comment.
The sportsbook's help desk on Twitter indicated that the delay had been due to "scheduled maintenance," although the error message users saw when trying to login indicated that the site error was a mistake.

The site was back up at roughly 6 p.m. mountain time.
