Chicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney is listed as questionable for the Bears Week 2 clash with the Bengals at Soldier Field.
Mooney has been working through a back issue but it hasn't stopped him from practicing in full throughout the week.
The second-year wideout is a popular candidate to have a breakout season, although whether or not the Bears stick with Andy Dalton at QB1 or turn to rookie Justin Fields will play an obvious role in his season.
In Chicago's Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Mooney hauled in five of seven targets for 26 yards.
Mooney is listed as WR50 this week in The Action Network fantasy rankings, coming in slightly above his full-season ranking (WR54).
Mooney's 26 yards receiving was fifth on the Bears in Week 1. It was speedy wideout Marquise Goodwin who walked away having the best night, with four receptions for a team-leading 45 yards receiving.
Goodwin and TE Cole Kmet are the obvious beneficiaries in fantasy should Mooney not be able to suit up for the Week 2 matchup with Cincinnati. Kmet and Goodwin combined for 11 targets in Week 1.
That figure would go up considerably for that duo if Mooney was out due to the increased attention that top Bears wideout Allen Robinson II would receive.
As of Saturday evening, the Bears are a consensus -2 favorite over the Bengals, -1.5 at FanDuel. Chicago is still holding on as a slight favorite despite the public siding with Cincinnati, with the Bengals attracting a whopping 89% of the money wagered on Sunday's spread.
