Move over Michigan. Pennsylvania is now one of the states where you can play DraftKings Electric Poker.
The online gaming operator announced this week that anyone who is a member of the DraftKings Casino in Pennsylvania is now eligible to play this fast-paced, tournament-style poker game.
“Electric Poker is one of many innovative games on DraftKings Casino, which houses exclusive products that players can’t get anywhere else,” said Jason March, Vice President of iGaming Marketing and Operations at DraftKings. “After positive feedback from our players in Michigan, we are thrilled to expand our Electric Poker offerings to our customers in Pennsylvania, delivering them a best-in-class online poker experience.”

DraftKings Casino released its first-ever Electric Poker game in Michigan in August. Pennsylvania is now the second state to offer it.
How Does DraftKings Electric Casino Work?
DraftKings Electric Poker is a 3-handed No-Limit Texas Hold'em game offering different buy-in levels that range from $1.00 to $25.00 and prize pools up to 10,000 times your buy-in.
To play, you’ll have to make sure that you’re using the latest version of the DraftKings Sportsbook or Casino app. DraftKings Casino is live in five U.S. states and in Ontario, Canada, but this game is available exclusively to players located in Michigan or Pennsylvania.
Casino Credits are not valid for use on Electric Poker.
Pennsylvania Takes Another Step Toward Joining MSIGA
This announcement is also newsworthy because the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) is taking steps to join the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA).
This decision has been long anticipated and allows Pennsylvania online poker sites to combine their players with those in Nevada, New Jersey, and Michigan. Although West Virginia is also part of the agreement, no online poker site has launched there yet.
In 2022 and early 2023, Pennsylvania led the online poker market. However, last September, Michigan took the lead with a 29% market share. Some lawmakers believe that Michigan gained the boost it needed to become number one by joining the Multi State Internet Gaming Agreement (MGISA).
Last week, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro instructed state regulators to work on joining the multi-state online poker compact. If Pennsylvania joins, it will become the largest state in the agreement.
