What a way to end the week. Two big wins at two off-the-Strip casinos in Vegas.
You Feel Like a Local at the Off-The-Strip Casinos
When you're in Vegas, you'll naturally want to visit The Strip. However, like Travis K and another fortunate winner discovered, exploring beyond the Strip has its perks.
Off-the-strip casinos are popular with locals. Las Vegas residents often avoid the Strip due to its heavy traffic, high parking fees, throngs of tourists, and crowded casinos and showrooms. Instead, they prefer the relaxed atmosphere of casinos and entertainment venues away from the Strip.
There's something for everyone outside the Strip. You can enjoy modern casino resorts like Durango or explore diverse entertainment options. Downtown Las Vegas offers vibrant bars and clubs on Fremont Street, and renovated hotels like the revamped Plaza add to the area's charm.
You’ll also find hidden gems like The Composers Room on Sahara Avenue in the Historic Commercial District. This club offers classic Las Vegas lounge entertainment at a reasonable price.
So, you can find more than just a jackpot off the Strip. There's plenty to see and do away from the bright lights of Las Vegas Boulevard.
