Hold the press — the bench press, that is.

FantasyLabs Co-Founder Jonathan Bales — king of physical prop bets and the 2018 Gambling Olympics gold medalist — has made a straight-up bet that he can complete 2,400 pushups in 12 hours.

Here are the conditions per @draftcheat aka Peter Christensen, the Twitter provocateur extraordinaire and daily fantasy sports player who is on the other side of this bet:

  • Amount wagered: $2,000
  • Number of pushups Bales must complete: 2,400
  • Timeline: Bales will start the 12-hour clock on Thursday morning (April 2).
  • Rules: Every pushup must be completed on camera and close to the agreed upon form. Bales may use any means necessary to complete the pushups, including performance-enhancing substances.
  • Panel of judges: Three judges will determine whether Bales completes the challenge by a majority decision: Dan Back, Peter Manzinelli (or perhaps his proxy, Peter Overzet), and Headchopper.

Check back for an exclusive Q&A with Bales. The Action Network will also provide more coverage leading up to, during and after the event.
