The guest won an impressive $1,271,645 while playing the Dragon Link slot machine by Aristocrat Gaming. This marks the largest jackpot in MGM Grand Detroit's history since its opening in 1999, surpassing the previous record of $1,127,425 set in July 2008.

Aristocrat Gaming confirmed that the $2.6 million jackpot is a world record for single-location linked progressive Dragon Link machines.
