Patrick Reed's first victory in 16 months was well-timed.

Reed came into the 2019 Northern Trust as a 100-1 longshot to win the FedEx Cup. After taking down the field at Liberty National, the 29-year-old now sits in second place in the FedEx Cup Standings and is now the third favorite to be the last man standing at the Tour Championship.

Brooks Koepka, who finished T30 at the Northern Trust, still paces the race for the FedEx Cup and remains a 2-1 favorite to win the competition. Koepka is 206 points ahead of Reed heading into the second event of the three-tournament postseason.

Rory McIlroy trails Koepka by 310 points in the table and is the only other golfer with single-digit odds to take home the cup at 6-1. The Northern Irishman finished T6 at Liberty National.

The top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings have qualified for this weekend's BMW Championship, the second leg of the 2019 FedEx Cup Playoffs. The top 30 players after the BMW Championship will move on to the Tour Championship, where the FedEx Cup Champion will be determined.
