For the past few weeks the golf betting world was waiting for Justin Thomas to make good on his terrific form with a victory. The ball-striking talisman had been knocking on the door, finishing inside the top 12 in each of his last four starts.

The wait is now over.

Thomas finally put it all together this weekend, taking down the BMW Championship with a sparkling performance, finishing 25-under par at Medinah. Thomas' first win in over a year was perfectly timed, as it vaulted the 26-year-old to the top of the FedEx Cup Standings with just the Tour Championship left to play.

Patrick Cantlay's second-place finish moved him up from No. 6 to No. 2 in the FedEx Cup Standings. Cantlay will head to East Lake in great form as he's finished T12-T12-2 his last three times out.

Brooks Koepka was pushed to third place in the table after finishing T24 at Medinah. Koepka had been in the catbird seat for much of the season and entered the playoffs as the favorite to win the FedEx Cup.

The 2018-19 PGA Tour Season will come to a close this weekend at East Lake in Atlanta, Georgia.
