The winner of the TOUR Championship not only claims a tournament title but will walk away as the FedExCup Playoff champion. That comes with quite the financial prize.
First place in this week's tournament will feature a $15-million prize, which gives No. 1-seed Patrick Cantlay the inside track to a huge payday. The difference between first and second is a sizable one with the runner-up taking home $5 million – $10 million fewer than first.
Cantlay will start out on top at 10-under par, two strokes ahead of Tony Finau and three ahead of Bryson DeChambeau. Jon Rahm is fourth at 6-under. You can find the full oddsboard and list of starting positions here.
Players have been accumulating points all season with the top 30 in the standings qualifying for this last tournament. Even last place this week will pay out $395,000.
The top-8 finishers will win over $1 million with 8th place paying out $1.1 million.
Last season, Dustin Johnson won the first prize of $15 million with Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele splitting second and third. Rahm finished 4th and Scottie Scheffler rounded out the top five.
