Bet the BMW International Open risk-free up to $1,000.

With the Open Championship on the horizon, a strong DP World Tour field is in Munich this week for the BMW International Open.

Billy Horschel is the betting favorite. Horschel won the Memorial a few weeks ago, but he's coming off a missed cut at the U.S. Open.

Louis Oosthuizen and Thomas Pieters are the only other players listed at 20-1 or lower at BetMGM. Oosthuizen also missed the cut in Brookline, while Pieters had a nice showing that saw him finish T27.

Other familiar names in the field are European Ryder Cup players Bernd Wiesberger and Sergio Garcia, as well as World Tour fixtures Pablo Larrazabal, Rasmus Hojgaard and Victor Perez.

DP World Tour Rankings

Atop the DP World Tour rankings are five PGA TOUR fixtures. Will Zalatoris is in first after his strong showing at the U.S. Open, and he’s followed by Rory McIlroy, U.S. Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas and Viktor Hovland.

Pieters, Ryan Fox, Larrazabal and Richard Bland follow the five top-ranked golfers, with Collin Morikawa sitting 10th.

If you’re wondering how PGA TOUR staples are atop the DP World Tour rankings, it’s because there are tournaments on the PGA TOUR that offer points in the Race to Dubai.

The WGC-Dell Match Play and the four major championships, as well as the Barbasol Championship and Barracuda Championship, which take place in the U.S. opposite the Scottish Open and Open Championship week, are all on the DP World Tour schedule.

Also, McIlroy, Hovland and Morikawa played two events in the United Arab Emirates at the start of 2022, with Hovland registering a victory at the Dubai Desert Classic.

Nicolai Hojgaard, Rasmus’ twin, and Fox registered wins in the UAE earlier this year, as well. Larrazabal also was victorious in March in South Africa and then in April in his home country of Spain at the Handa Championship. Sam Horsfield and Perez won in May.

Next week, it officially becomes #LinksGolfSzn. The Irish Open is a huge tournament on the DP World Tour schedule and offers the biggest purse and most Tour points since the event Hovland won in January.
