After a fantastic weekend at the Masters that saw him finish 47th at Augusta National, Tiger Woods was noncommittal in terms of golf's next major: the 2022 PGA Championship.
Well, Woods is listed among the initial field for May's major, which will be at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla. The four-time winner of the event indicated after the Masters that he would try to be ready, and this is obviously an indication that at the very least he's keeping his options open.
Across the board — at BetMGM, Caesars, PointsBet and DraftKings — Woods is 40-1 to win the PGA Championship for a fifth time. That's in line with where he entered the Masters after a week of moving all over the board.
Woods has already committed to play the 2022 British Open, which will be at the Old Course at St. Andrews. After the Masters, he called St. Andrew his favorite course in the world and noted how important it was for him to play the event.
Woods' status for the 2022 US Open, which will be at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass., is unknown. Playing in the PGA Championship, though, would indicate Woods is going to do his best to compete in all four majors this year.
