Major championship weeks mean more props, and the PGA Championship is no exception.

I've found three plays that I'll be going with to add to the outright card.

Dean Burmester Low South African (+1200, DraftKings)

This is a market I like with the clear favorite Louis Oosthuizen not playing since withdrawing from the Masters.

I've landed on Burmester, one of the longest players on the DP World Tour. He's got the length to potentially take advantage of the par 5s like few can, and he's also 18th on that tour in Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green.

The form is a bit erratic, but he's only missed two cuts in nine starts in 2022 and has a pair of seconds in Africa. He's also available at +250 to finish top-three on BetRivers in that market as well. With no player in this group really firing on all cylinders week after week, I think he should have a decent chance to come out ahead of his compatriots.

Bet Tiger Woods, Win $200 (No Matter What!)

Tiger Woods to Make the Cut (-118, FanDuel)

I think this is the play if you want to back Tiger again. It's not as much of a slam dunk as at Augusta since we've got a deeper field, and a lower percentage will play the weekend.

But this is still a course where Tiger will enter with some positive vibes even if there have been some renovations. It shouldn't be as physically demanding as Augusta was, so I'd expect him to play better for a longer period of time during the week.

The PGA of America also slotted him in the morning/afternoon draw, which will help for a couple of reasons. First, it gives him the maximum amount of time to recover between round. Second, he may have the weather edge as well.

Early forecasts project more wind late on Thursday and early on Friday. Obviously we're aware that can change, but if it holds, it's another edge for Woods as he tries to make the weekend.

Alex Noren — First Round Leader (+8000, BetRivers)

This will be a popular FRL bet with Noren being an Oklahoma State guy getting the earliest tee time Thursday morning. But at that price, it's worth a dart.

Noren's only missed cut in the last four months came at the team event in New Orleans, so on his own, the form has been great. He also showed last week he can put together pretty low rounds, firing a 63 and 64.

TPC Craig Ranch isn't near the level of Southern Hills, but a bit of a local edge coupled with some recent good form is enough for me to think he can get off to a good start. You can also each way this bet to seven places at 1/5th the price to get a decent payout on a close call.
