*Odds courtesy of DraftKings as of Tuesday evening
Pine Needles is set to host the 77th U.S. Women's Open this week in Southern Pines, N.C., and the field is absolutely loaded.
Nelly Korda returns for her first event back from injury after a long layoff. She was ranked No. 1 in the world at the end of last season and suffered a blood clot in her arm. She's +1800 to win this week at DraftKings.
Jin Young Ko is the clear favorite to take home the trophy at +750.
Lydia Ko is behind her at +1200, as she looks for her first major victory since 2016. Minjee Lee is also at +1200.
Americans Lexi Thompson (+1400) and Korda round out the ladies with odds of 20-1 or better.
Michelle Wie West announced her retirement from professional golf after next year's U.S. Women's Open. She's in an LPGA field for only the second time this season. She's 500-1 to win the golf tournament, as she returns to the same area that crowned her the U.S. Women's Open Championship in 2014.
1. Jin Young Ko +750
Jin Young is ranked as the No. 1 golfer in the world after winning five of eight tournaments after the Olympics last season. She was on an absolute tear while finishing in the top 10 in all eight events.
She's cooled off a bit since her win at the HSBC Women's World Championship back in March. She's finished in the top 10 twice in her last five events.
2. Lydia Ko +1200
Ko was once deemed the future of women's golf after winning two majors as a teenager.
Now, as a 25-year-old, she has yet to reclaim that major success. But she's playing some of the best golf of her life, as she already won an event and is ranked as the No. 3 women's golfer in the world.
3. Minjee Lee +1200
Lee is one of the favorites, as she has the most momentum heading into the U.S. Women's Open. She claimed her first victory of the season just a few weeks ago at the Cognizant Founders Cup.
She's also finished in the top 15 in four of her last five events.
4. Lexi Thompson +1400
Thompson is still looking for her first U.S. Women's Open victory after seemingly being in contention every single year. Her game is also trending in the right direction.
5. Nelly Korda +1800
As mentioned previously, Korda is making a return from injury, and it's difficult to know what to expect from the 23-year-old. She definitely has the firepower to win another major, but who knows where her game is at.
