Although our attention is on the West Coast of Scotland, we cannot forget what we have going on on the West Coast of the United States!

The Barracuda Championship is alive and well and there is plenty of money to be made over here. There is truly nothing like logging onto the PGA Tour app and seeing the leaders be in the +20 range.

Stableford scoring is an extremely fun format that rewards scoring. For example, J.J. Spaun is in with back to back 65's, but his Friday round earned him 13 points, while his Thursday round only earned him 12. A bogey free 65 with 6 birdies cost him a point than today's 65 with 7 birdies and a bogey.

Clearly, bogeys will not kill you in this format and it is about being fearless and keeping your foot on the gas. Let's take a look at both the odds board and leaderboard to find some action.

Taylor Pendrith+650
J.J. Spaun+850
Max Greyserman+1200
S.H. Kim+1600
Nate Lashley+2500
Ben Silverman+12000

S.H. Kim Top 5 +320

S.H. Kim is an absolute electric factory who finds himself in the mix heading into the weekend.

I really liked him heading into to the week at +8500 because of his birdie making ability and that is really showing here. Kim is in the top percentage of the field in birdies this week, but has a few bogeys that is costing him some points. I have no issue with that because we knew what we were getting ourselves into with Kim. The fearless play will lead to a ton of birdies but will also cost him a stroke or two here and there.

One thing we know heading into the weekend is that Kim will not take his foot off the gas. I don't see him going away this weekend and want to add more onto the outright we have. Take it low S.H.!

Andrew Putnam Top 20 +260

Andrew Putnam always shows out for this type of event and he has a runner up here in the past.

I love his stat profile heading into the weekend, as he's due for a really low round. Putnam is also top-20 in the field in strokes gained approach and around even in putting.

If you know anything about Putnam, it's that he's a great putter. Throughout the entire PGA Tour, Putnam ranks 31st in putting which will rate out very well in this field. His iron play is extremely steady and all it will take is one solid round with the flat stick to get him through this line and cash us another positional.

Patrick Rodgers Top 20 +170

The cream will rise to the top over four rounds.

If you are an avid golf fan, I would hope you chuckled at that line directly below Patrick Rodgers' name. Although he is a generational non-winner, he is one of the more complete players in this field.

Rodgers is cruising off the tee and on the greens which is a great formula for a high floor, but not to peak and make a ton of birdies. I believe his floor will continue to rise over the weekend, but he will not have enough to really make a run at this thing. We will go with a safe positional number here.
