Find my 2024 Masters Predictions below, including picks for Bryson DeChambeau, Adam Scott & more.
We're still headed in the right direction entering Masters week after Akshay Bhatia gave us our third winner in as many weeks in the golf world at +6000 at the Valero Texas Open.
We also had a runner-up finish in South Africa and took third on the Korn Ferry Tour. The Ladies European Tour provided a complete refund as well after their tournament was washed out after 18 holes.
Now it's time to focus in on the sport's main event, the Masters.
2024 Masters Predictions
Best Masters Bet: Bryson DeChambeau +3500 (FanDuel)
I've said it before in these posts throughout the years, but the Masters is a 365-day betting event for me. When it comes to this week, I'm really not looking at outrights much anymore. With the expanded prop market, we tend to get a few extra opportunities that we don't see during the normal week.
There isn't a ton of value in rehashing guys I've bet throughout the year with numbers that are long gone, but one play I like right now is Bryson DeChambeau at +3500 to win outright. He's had a lot to say about Augusta in the past, and the results haven't backed up his comments.
This year, we're getting a more under-the-radar DeChambeau. The form has been good on LIV Golf as he's basically been a lock to top 10 every week. He has the length and the putting to play well here, so hopefully he's learned from his mistakes in the past.
Other Masters Bets
- Santiago De la Fuente: Low Amateur +400
- Byeong Hun An: Low Korean +350
- Adam Scott: Low Australian +400
Global Golf Betting Predictions
Sunshine Tour Championship
Best Bet: Luca Filippi +3300 (BetRivers)
We've only got one other tour with odds this week, and it's down in South Africa at the end of their season.
The Sunshine Tour Championship has a limited field, but it really is worth keeping an eye on the results while you're settling in for the Masters coverage. We've had success here in the past, notably with Garrick Higgo in 2020, who then followed up with wins on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour.
My play here is Filippi. The form hasn't been great for the 24-year-old in recent months, but that's always to tough to gauge at this time of year with the DP World Tour and Challenge Tour players taking part in so many events.
However, I do know that he's had an eye for this place, finishing third and fifth the past two seasons. He's got the talent to be the best guy on this tour, so I'll take a chance on him here.
Other Sunshine Tour Championship Bets:
- Jacques Blaauw +4500
- Jonothan Broomhead +6600
- Gerhard Pepler +10000
