One final week of regular season PGA Tour Golf as the golfers and caddies head to Sedgefield Country Club to take on the 2024 Wyndham Championship. This North Carolina stop has been on the PGA Tour for a very long time. It's a unique design, as it is much shorter than the majority of PGA Tour courses. Playing as a Par 70, it won't play longer than 7,200 yards.

On paper, it seems extremely easy and while there will be plenty of birdies made, there are also plenty of chances to make a big number out here. If you miss your spot off the tee into these narrow fairways, you will find your ball in some very thick rough. This will make it extremely tough to control even a wedge into these firm and slopey Donald Ross greens.

Here is the One-and-Done preview ahead of the 2024 Wyndham Championship.

2024 Wyndham Championship: One-and-Done

Sungjae Im +1600

This is a perfect golf course for Sungjae Im and his course history would agree with that.

In five trips to this event, he's never missed a cut and hasn't finished worse than 24th. When you think of his golf game and try to envision a golf course for him, you would think a shorter Bermuda course where playing from the fairway is important. That is exactly what Sedgefield Country Club is and I wouldn't be shocked to see Sungjae take advantage of that yet again.

He's a cut-maker with plenty of top-five upside. One of his two wins came at the Honda Classic, which is a course that asks you very similar questions and presents a ton of leaderboard crossover.

Brian Harman: +3000

More than likely, Harman is used in your One-and-Done pool but if you have access to him, this is the perfect spot to run him out.

Harman has been on a great run since The Masters, as he hasn't missed a cut since then. When you take a closer look at his profile, you see how well he's been hitting the ball. Harman recently posted an approach week of +6.5 strokes at The Scottish Open, which was his second-best approach in a few years.

Harman has a mixed bag of results in this event. He's played it ten times and only made the cut on four of the trips. Two of those cuts were very high-end results inside the T6. Looking at the field this year, it is by no means super strong, and Harman should have as good a chance as anyone to win here.

Alex Smalley: +10000

Alex Smalley just had his third-best ball-striking performance of his career and his best of the season. It's excellent timing as he heads to the course he refers to as his home course.

He's played this event three times and made two cuts doing so. Smalley is on the brink of losing his PGA Tour card, so he knows what needs to be done this week.

While there is some added pressure, Smalley is in a great spot to post a great result this week. He will be a low-owned and high-risk player who brings some upside to the table. Pencil in Smalley at his home course if you have some chasing to do in your Wyndham Championship One and Done pool.
