Storms wiped out Monday’s practice rounds at Augusta, but the forecast is promising for the start of the Masters. The world’s top golfers will battle for the green jacket in what promises to be a memorable showdown on golf’s biggest stage.

Scottie Scheffler will look to defend his title, while Rory McIlroy will try to win his first major in 11 years. Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Aberg and Xander Schauffele will also be in the hunt for glory in the tournament scheduled for April 10–13.

Let’s take a look at Kalshi’s Masters Tournament odds and see if there’s any value.

2025 Masters Tournament Odds

Scheffler, the world’s No. 1-ranked player, opens as the favorite with a 16% chance to win, according to Kalshi. That figure has dipped slightly over the past 24 hours, but has held steady over the past two months.

A two-time Masters winner (2022, 2024), Scheffler is trying to join the elite company of Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo and Tiger Woods as the only golfers to win back-to-back Masters titles. He hasn’t won a tournament yet in 2025, but a runner-up finish at the Texas Children’s Houston Open two weeks ago shows he’s in good form.

The most likely challenger? Rory McIlroy. The experienced Irishman has a 14% chance to win, though that number fell sharply by 3% over the past day.

One thing working against him is his history at Augusta: he’s never won there, despite seven career top-10 finishes in the Masters, including a runner-up in 2022. On the plus side, he comes in hot with two PGA Tour wins in 2025—the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Players Championship.

Rahm, the 2023 champion, will look to reclaim the title. He holds a 6% chance of winning, the same as DeChambeau and Morikawa. Morikawa knows Augusta National well, having posted three straight top-10 finishes at the event.

Just behind them at 5% are Schauffele and Aberg. Schauffele is seeking his third win in the last four majors, while Aberg — who was runner-up in his Masters debut last year — already has a victory in 2025 at The Genesis Invitational.

The Masters is no stranger to surprises, just ask 2016 champion Danny Willett. This year, a few names hoping to create their own Cinderella story include Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Hideki Matsuyama and Brooks Koepka. Each holds a 3% chance to win, according to the Kalshi market.

What is Kalshi?

Different than a traditional sportsbook and available in all 50 states, Kalshi allows users to make predictions across several unique markets, including sports, entertainment, elections and even weather.

Kalshi operates on a contract-based system where users buy "contracts" (priced between 1–99 cents) based on whether they believe a specific event will happen. The price of each contract fluctuates in real time based on market sentiment and like the stock market, traders can sell positions early to lock in profits (or minimize losses).
