The Valspar Championship tees off on Thursday morning from the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla.
I hope everyone enjoyed The Players Championship. Even though we didn't get a Sunday finish, I had a blast sweating all four rounds and the three-hole playoff. Rory McIlroy picked up his second Players Championship win and has now won three times on St. Patrick's Day, which is a random fact that you might need for a trivia game at some point in your life.
While we have yet to hit a winner this year, I ask that you trust the process. I've been profitable betting on golf in each of the last three years (all documented). We just need a Sunday or two to go our way.
Here are my 2025 Valspar Championship picks, as well as the tournament odds, course preview, schedule, and more.

2025 Valspar Championship Picks
Lowry is not a good putter. He will regularly lose 2, 3, 4, or even 5 strokes putting in any given event.
However, he's capable of having spike weeks with the flat stick. I love the way his game is trending, especially his iron play. He has rattled off three straight top-20 finishes (all in Florida) and has gained over 16 strokes on approach during that stretch.
He's 1st in this field in strokes gained per round in Florida over the last 3 years and 2nd in strokes gained per round on difficult non-Par 72 courses. He hasn't won on the PGA TOUR in a while but has 9 professional wins on his resume.
This should be a great golf course for his skill set.
Since switching to the LAB putter and the long putter, Glover has made huge strides on the greens.
There's debate on whether he's anchoring his putter, but we'll save that for another day. All that matters to us is that he has gained strokes putting in 8 of his last 11 events. He's an accurate driver of the ball and has always been an elite iron player. He's gained 7.7 strokes on approach in his last 3 events combined.
In his last 13 events, he has 4 top 3 finishes, so he's certainly no stranger to being in contention. He's made the cut in his last 6 trips to Innisbrook and finished T11 here last year.
Griffin is still searching for his first win on the PGA TOUR, but he's racked up 7 top 5 finishes, including 2 runner-ups. He plays his best on short courses where driving distance isn't a prerequisite to finding the winner's circle. This is certainly one of those courses.
Griffin has a good track record in Florida and is 2-for-2 here, with a T17 finish last year. He's good on approach, excellent around the green, and one of the best putters in the field. I like the odds, given how often he's in the mix on Sundays.
I probably bet C-Bez too often, but he's a golfer I have faith in when he's in contention.
He's still looking for his first win on the PGA TOUR, but he has 10 professional victories worldwide, including 3 on the European Tour. He's not a good driver of the ball, but his lack of distance won't hurt him much here. He's good on approach and is elite on and around the greens.
He's among the best in the field in strokes gained per round, both in Florida and on difficult non-Par 72 courses. I love the outright odds and will also sprinkle in a top-10 bet.
2025 Valspar Championship Course Preview
The Valspar Championship is held at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort. The course is a par-71 that measures 7,352 yards. While located in Florida, it has more of a Carolinas feel to it. The fairways are tree-lined, there are several elevation changes, and there are plenty of dog-legs. Water hazards are still lurking, though, as they are in play on nine of the 18 holes.
The fairways at the Copperhead Course are narrow (26 yards wide) and difficult to hit. The course also features several dog-legs, which make it a less-than-driver course. Last year's average driving distance was only 279 yards, well below PGA Tour average. The greens here are small (5,800 square feet) and difficult to hit. This places an emphasis on approach play and around the green play.
In terms of difficulty, this has been one of the top 10 toughest courses on tour in three of the last five years. During that stretch, the winning score has ranged from -8 to -17. This certainly won't be a birdie-fest and tends to benefit those who are precise, tee to green, and have a tidy, short game.
Experience here and experience on difficult non-par 72 courses should also come in handy this week.
