The Outlook

Beef is playing stateside for the first time this year. After a quiet 2017, he’s regained his form in Europe, picking up four top-12 finishes overseas in 2018. When the game is on point, his irons are pretty good, and he’s long and accurate enough with the driver to compete. The short game has held him back in his limited experience on the PGA Tour, though. I won’t have any action on him this week, but I could see him making a cut and helping out at the bottom of a DFS roster.

The Metrics

Here's how Johnston ranks in the U.S. Open field in several key metrics. For many more, be sure to check out the FantasyLabs PGA Models.
