Anthony Kim is set to make his highly-anticipated return to golf after almost 12 years away from the game.
LIV teased an announcement that Kim will be playing in the next LIV Tour event at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in Saudi Arabia. It was also teased by LIV CEO and commissioner Greg Norman.
He oozes incredible talent. The world has seen it in the past and now it is an honour as Commissioner of LIV Golf to give the opportunity for this star to be reborn. Welcome back and to the LIV Golf family mate. The golf world has missed you. pic.twitter.com/HNzsXPgFUp

Sportsbooks have started to post odds for Kim at LIV Jeddah.
ESPN Bet was the first major sportsbook to post outright odds for Kim to win. He opened at 150-1 and is already down to 100-1 to win. Kim has better odds than major winners Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood, Graeme McDowell, Charl Schwartzel and Martin Kaymer.
Kim is somewhat of a folk hero in the world of golf. He disappeared off the face of the Earth after he activated an insurance policy because of injuries sustained in his short golf career.
According to reports, he would not be able to earn any more money from the insurance policy if he were to play in a professional event. The only time golf fans had heard from Kim was leaked videos of him at restaurants and a couple of videos of him swinging a golf club.
It is unclear how much golf Kim has played in the last 12 years.
The three-time PGA Tour winner will join LIV as a "wild card." He will compete in the field as an individual and not as a member of a team. That also means he is not guaranteed starts after the LIV Jeddah tournament.
The action begins on Friday, March 1, with a 3:15 AM ET shotgun start. It will be televised on the CW.
