  • 2017: Marc Leishman (-11)
  • 2016: Jason Day (-17)
  • 2015: Matt Every (-19)

Let's dive into a couple of my favorite picks and Arnold Palmer Invitational best bets for this weekend in Florida.

Arnold Palmer Invitational Best Bets

Patrick Cantlay (-110) over Tommy Fleetwood

I am buying a lot of stock on Patrick Cantlay this weekend.
Cantlay finished in the top five at Bay Hill two years ago, proving his ability to succeed on this course.
The Long Beach, Calif., native has earned two top-five finishes in his last three starts.

Top 20: Justin Thomas (-120)

Justin Thomas has been playing outstanding golf lately.

The Louisville native has placed in the top 10 in three of his last four tournaments.

Thomas will be toward the top of the leaderboard and continue his strong play this weekend.

Top 20: Hideki Matsuyama (-110)

Hideki Matsuyama (-135) over Tony Finau

Hideki Matsuyama is off to a strong start this season and has played well at Bay Hill in his career.
The 33-year-old has placed in the top 20 in four of the last five Bay Hill tournaments.

Matsuyama's long game will bode well at this course, and he is in the mix to earn the win this weekend.

Outright Winner: Justin Thomas (+2000)

As mentioned above, Thomas is in great form coming into this tournament and has improved playing at Bay Hill over the last few seasons.

We are getting substantial value on Thomas at 20-1 to win outright.
