Augusta week just got a whole lot more interesting.

Why, you ask? Because Action Network's Golf Squares Contest is dishing out $5,000 in prize money for this year's tournament.

Oh, and it's free to play … right here.

Find everything you need to know about the contest below.

Play Augusta Golf Squares

How Do I Enter?

Start by creating a Golf Squares account (this is separate from your normal Action account).

Once registered, you'll automatically get an entry into both contests — one covering the entire tournament (Rounds 1-4) and one for just the final day.

An hour before tee-off your bingo-style card will appear (example below), automatically and randomly generated with potential outcomes and events from the tournament, such as the number of birdies a player will score on a particular round and/or how many shots under par a player will shoot.

All you have to do is sit back relax and enjoy the game while your card updates each day based on what happens on the green!

How Do I Win?

Now for the fun part. For each vertical, horizontal and diagonal line filled (again, think bingo), you will receive 1 entry into our prize draw.

If you cover all four corners of the card, you'll get 25 entries into the draw. Cross out (make an "X" through) the card and you'll get 50 entries.

And if you can go 25 for 25 to cover the entire card, you'll get 100 entries!

The payouts of the draws will be as follows.

Card 1 (Thursday-Sunday)

  • 1st draw: $2,000
  • 2nd draw: $500
  • 3rd draw: $500

Card 2 (Final Round)

  • 1st draw: $1,000
  • 2nd draw: $500
  • 3rd draw: $500

That's $5,000 in total prizes … and completely free entry. It doesn't get much better than that!
