The PGA TOUR is in Texas this week for the Cadence Bank Houston Open.
For a tournament in November, there are some big-time names in the field.
World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler is in the field playing in his home state. He's the clear favorite at BetMGM at +600.
Sam Burns and Tony Finau–both among the top 20 in the world–are the other two players from the United States Presidents Cup Team playing at Memorial Park Golf Course.
Finau is the biggest liability for BetMGM this week. He is getting 9.7% of the tickets and accounts for 10.8% of the handle as his odds have moved from +2200 at open to +1800 now.
Sepp Straka is the second-biggest liability for BetMGM. He has been a popular bet ever since he went on a tear in the late summer into the fall. The Austrian is getting 4.6% of the bets and accounts for 4.1% of the money at BetMGM with his odds shrinking from +10000 at open to +6600 currently.
The third-biggest liability may come as a surprise–South African Dean Burmester. He has been red-hot with three top-35 finishes over his last three starts, including a fourth-place finish at the Sanderson Farms Championship.
Burmester is getting 4.4% of the tickets and 3.6% of the handle as his odds have moved from +8000 to +5000 currently. The South African spent most of last season on the DP World Tour before securing status on the PGA TOUR through the Korn Ferry Playoffs.
Scheffler is also getting some significant action. He accounts for 17.5% of the total handle with only 5.7% of the bets.
Burns is also getting some action with 5% of the tickets while accounting for 12.3% of the money.
