The Outlook
Grillo comes into Shinnecock as hot as anyone on tour, having made all 13 of his cuts in 2018. In fact, he hasn't missed a weekend since last August. He has six top-10 finishes during that time and hasn't shown a weakness in any part of his game in a while. Over his past four events specifically, he's hit 70.2% of greens and 71.0% of fairways. That accuracy and ball-striking will certainly come in handy at a U.S. Open event, although he might lack the elite distance with his driver to really contend all four days here. Still, he's a very nice value in DFS and should be safe to make the cut.
