We had a decent last week overall as we cashed Retief Goosen on the Champions Tour at +4000 and had a PGA Tour sweat with Taylor Moore finishing in the second-place logjam in Houston.

There are six more events this week before the golf world shifts its focus to Augusta.

Find my Global Golf Betting Expert Picks for the following events and tours below:

  • Valero Texas Open – PGA Tour
  • LIV Miami – LIV Golf
  • T-Mobile Match Play – LPGA
  • Club Car Championship – Korn Ferry Tour
  • Limpopo Championship – Sunshine Tour
  • Australian Women's Classic – Ladies Euro Tour

Global Golf Betting Expert Picks

Valero Texas Open – PGA Tour

Best Bet: Corey Conners +2700 bet365

For whatever reason, Corey Conners has found a home in San Antonio. He's made the cut in all five tries here with two wins sprinkled in.

His strong tee-to-green game is a perfect match for the Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio. He's long enough that the course of nearly 7,500 yards doesn't overwhelm him. Meanwhile the irons and driver are so precise that he tends to steer clear of any danger here as well.

The form has been solid but is lacking a high finish this season. He's basically been a lock to gain strokes with the driver and irons this year — but the putter always troubles him. However, he showed signs of life on the greens in his last start when he gained a couple strokes putting at THE PLAYERS Championship.

Now we're going to a spot where he's only lost strokes on the greens once in five starts.

Other Valero Texas Open bets:

  • Akshay Bhatia +6000
  • Victor Perez +12000
  • Andrew Novak +12000
  • Seamus Power +12500
  • Matti Schmid +15000

LIV Miami – LIV Golf

Best Bets: Bryson DeChambeau +1200 (BetRivers)

LIV Golf gets its Masters warm-up at an old familiar PGA Tour stop in Doral. Many of the older players have seen this place quite a few times. This is also where LIV Golf held its team finale last season.

The course has always catered to distance, so that leads me to Bryson DeChambeau, who led his team to the title here last October.

His form has been solid so far with top 10s in the last three starts. He was also a regular winner last year, picking up two victories on this tour.

It's a great course fit for someone of his talent and form.

Other LIV Miami bets:

  • Bubba Watson +8000

T-Mobile Match Play – LPGA

Best Bet: Yuka Saso +4000 (BetRivers)

While the PGA Tour did away with match play, the LPGA decided to completely ruin their event. "Match play" was turned into a 54-hole stroke play event where the top 8 will advance to a bracket. This is just a sad decision for what was a fun event.

I'll keep it limited here this week and go back to Yuka Saso. She's been a constant on the card, and maybe the slight adjustment in format will better suit her consistent play.

In five starts since February, she's had no finish worse that 27th with four top 20s.

Other T-Mobile Match Play bets:

  • Andrea Lee +6000

Club Car Championship – Korn Ferry Tour

Best Bet: Ricky Castillo +4000 (BetRivers)

The Korn Ferry Tour is back in the United States for the first time this season after a stint through the Caribbean and South America.

The KFT opens in Georgia, where players like Sam Burns, Adam Svensson and David Skinns won in recent seasons. There's quite a range in skillsets among those three, but the event features a shorter course that tends to lean more toward wedge players who can putt on Bermuda.

I'll stick with the Florida alum Ricky Castillo on this tour. He's been in the top 20 in his last five starts with two fifth-place finishes thrown in there. Usually that kind of consistent form would have him closer to the top of the oddsboard, but he's still a level below the favorites for some reason.

Other Club Car Championship bets:

  • Max McGreevy +4000
  • Brandon Crick +8000
  • Cole Hammer +9000
  • T.J. Vogel +11000
  • Noah Goodwin +12500

Limpopo Championship – Sunshine Tour

Best Bet: Haydn Porteous +5500 (bet365)

The Sunshine Tour is back this week with a relatively strong field for this event. We're getting a few more of the top South Africans here with the DP World Tour off for the next couple weeks.

I'll go with Haydn Porteous in this event. He hasn't played much in South Africa in recent seasons. His career got off to a flying start with two wins on the DP World Tour by the time he was 23, but in the past six years, he's been more of journeyman, bouncing between DP World, Challenge and Sunshine Tours.

He was second two weeks ago though on this tour, so if the form is anywhere close to returning, then he's proven to be one of the best players at this level.

Other Limpopo Championship bets:

  • Martin Vorster +7500
  • Jaques Blaauw +8000
  • Jonothan Broomhead +9000
  • M.J. Viljoen +15000

Australian Women's Classic – Ladies Euro Tour

Best Bet: Momoka Kobori +5000 (bet365)

The Ladies Euro Tour remains in Australia another week.

I'll go with the New Zealand native Momoka Kobori here. She was fourth here last year, albeit in a weaker field without the LET regulars a year ago, but she's clearly comfortable here.

She was the best player on the LET Access Tour in 2022 but has had a bit of a slow start at this level during the past year and a half. She's coming off an eighth-place finish last week, so the game is better, and we might get a spike week with her close to home.

Other Australian Women's Classic bets:

  • Ana Belac +3300
  • Sara Kouskova +4000
  • Smilla Soenderby +10000
