Another week of close calls that fell short. We ended up losing a Korn Ferry playoff with Frankie Capan III. Then there was a chance for another senior major, but Greg Chalmers slid to third after being tied with five holes to play.
This week, we're targeting six more events, including U.S Women's Open picks.
Find my Global Golf Betting Picks for the following tournaments below:
- U.S. Women's Open — LPGA
- RBC Canadian Open — PGA Tour
- European Open — DP World Tour

Global Golf Betting Picks
U.S. Women's Open — LPGA
Best Bet: Patty Tavatanakit +4000 (BetRivers)
It's a major week for the women. They'll play at Lancaster Country Club, which hosted the event back in 2015 when Ingee Chun won.
Chun was in the midst of quite the hot streak that season and won eight times worldwide. Outside of that form, she's always been an elite ball-striker, and I imagine this U.S. Open will be a similar test.
Tavatanakit is my favorite play this week. She's one of the longest players on the LPGA, ranking in the top 10 in Driving Distance. She's also an above average iron player. Her season started with a bang by winning back to back events in February.
However, she's fallen back under the radar a bit with Nelly Korda's rise paired with a minor slump of her own.
But the game appears back on track. She's finished seventh and 12th in her past two events and does have a major on the resume, winning the ANA in 2021.
Other U.S. Women's Open Bets:
- Gabriella Ruffels +4500
- Jennifer Kupcho +5000
- Maja Stark +8000
- HK Park +9000
RBC Canadian Open — PGA Tour
Best Bet: Tom Kim +5000 (FanDuel)
It's Rory McIlroy at the top and not much else in Canada. Last time we were on this course, he won by seven.
Given his current form, it feels like we could be heading to a similar result. So I'm just keeping the exposure lower than normal and peppering in some long shots.
It's a shorter course where the bombers don't have as much of an edge as normal — unless you're Rory, of course — but a further look down the board shows high finishes from guys like Webb Simpson, Matt Kuchar and Brandt Snedeker in 2019.
Consequently, that leads me to Tom Kim this week. He's been playing steady golf for the past two months but just doesn't have the high-end finish. He's only missed one cut since February and is one of the more accurate drivers on Tour.
With a shorter course like this, his lack of length shouldn't be too much of an issue. He can be a strong iron player and putter, but those parts of the game have been more inconsistent this year. If we can get a week where those aspects line up, then this is a good price in a weaker field.
Other RBC Canadian Open Bets:
- Adam Svensson 100-1
- Ryo Hisatsune 100-1
- Patton Kizzire 170-1
- Chandler Phillips 200-1
- Mac Meissner 200-1
- Robby Shelton 270-1
- David Lipsky 500-1
European Open — DP World Tour
Best Bet: Sam Bairstow +4500 (DraftKings)
The DP World Tour is in Germany this week with a return to Green Eagle. This is a long, difficult course where the winner hasn't reached double digits under par since 2019.
Despite the length, the pure bombers haven't had a lot of an advantage because the water hazards make accuracy just as important.
I'll go with Sam Bairstow here this week. He's been stringing together respectable results all season, and it just feels like a matter of time before he finally breaks through.
He's made his last six cuts with four top-15 finishes. Usually that run of form will have a guy close to the favorites, but he's still sitting a tier or two below the top end guys.
Other European Open Bets:
- Guido Migliozzi +5500
- Marcel Schneider +11000
- Joel Girrbach +12000
- Jeong Weon Ko +13000
- Freddy Schott +15000
Principal Charity Classic — PGA Tour Champions
Best Bet: Brian Gay +2500 (bet365)
On the Champions Tour, Brian Gay will continue to be worth a look in this price range.
We're getting a week with no Steve Stricker or Padraig Harrington, so it's not as deep at the top. Gay has been inside the top 20 in eight of 10 starts and will eventually get a win on this tour. He closed last season with five top-15 finishes in six starts, and that has carried into this season as well.
He's among the 10 best guys on this tour, so it's hard to see him just playing this well without a win for much longer.
Other Principal Charity Classic Bets:
- Stuart Appleby +5000
- Shane Bertsch 150-1
- Chris DiMarco 300-1
UNC Health Championship — Korn Ferry Tour
Best Bet: Kristoffer Ventura +4000 (BetRivers)
We're going back to Kristoffer Ventura on the Korn Ferry Tour. He hasn't provided any reason to stop believing in him so far.
He enters with strong form after finishing 16th or better in three of the last four events, and he also has a second and fourth this season.
He's won twice on this tour early in his career, so when the form is in good shape like this, he's worth backing.
Other UNC Health Championship Bets:
- Braden Thornberry 100-1
- Cody Blick 175-1
- Cooper Dossey 200-1
Dormy Open — Ladies European Open
Best Bet: Luna Sobron Galmes +4500 (bet365)
The Ladies Euro Tour wraps up my week here. It's not a strong field running opposite of the U.S. Women's Open, so there's an opportunity for players a little further down the priority list to make an impact.
I'll go to Luna Sobron Galmes in this spot. She's been pretty consistent this season, finishing in the top 25 in six of seven starts.
She's passed the 30-year-old mark, which isn't a good sign to still be on this tour for her overall prospects. We've seen her bounce between this tour and the LPGA for a few years now without a win. She has three wins on the development tour in Europe though, so there is some hope still.
She's in good form, so this will be as good of chance as she's had in a while to grab a win.
Other Dormy Open Bets:
- Lauren Walsh +4000
- Laura Fuenfstueck +4500
