Another major season is in the books for men's golf as we head into the home stretch of the PGA Tour season.
Last week was decent as Nick Dunlap (+5000) won the Barracuda Championship to give us three weeks in a row with a PGA Tour win after hitting on Robert MacIntyre (+5500) at the Genesis Scottish Open and Davis Thompson (+3000) at the John Deere Classic the prior two weeks.
This is a bit of a quiet week globally with Asia and the DP World Tour off, but we do have six events.

Global Golf Picks
3M Open — PGA Tour
Best Bet: Cam Davis +4000 (BetRivers)
After a couple weeks in Scotland, the PGA Tour is back stateside as the regular season nears its conclusion. This week's 3M Open and the Wyndham Championship in two weeks are the final two PGA Tour events before the FedExCup Playoffs.
Cam Davis is my favorite play at TPC Twin Cities this week. It's been a good course for him as he's finished 16th or better in three of the last four seasons. He also backed up his win at the Rocket Mortgage Classic last month with a solid result in the Scottish Open, where he tied for 26th.
Unlike many of the top players in the field this week, he wasn't in The Open Championship, so he's had time to get acclimated back to this side of the globe, which can be a benefit.
Other 3M Open Bets:
- Chan Kim 60-1
- Jhonattan Vegas 90-1
- Pierceson Coody 100-1
LIV UK — LIV Golf
Best Bet: John Catlin +8000 (DraftKings)
LIV Golf heads south to England after a good chunk of its tour made a start at The Open.
This is a different course for many of the top players this week. JCB Golf & Country Club is only five years old and held a couple Legends Tour events but hasn't had a field of this caliber. The course can stretch out to about 7,300 yards with three of the par-5s capable of reaching 600 yards. Consequently, distance will likely be an edge this week.
After a tough week at a major, it feels like a week we get a weird winner on an unknown course here. I'll go with John Catlin.
He seems to be relishing this unexpected jump to LIV Golf thanks to Charles Howell III's injury. He's finished in the top 25 all three times and has a seventh in Nashville. In four starts on the Asian Tour since early march, Catlin has two wins and a second-place finish.
If that's not enough form, only Jon Rahm bettered his 16th at The Open last week among the LIV Golf competitors. His game is just in a really good spot, and this number seems generous.
Other LIV UK Bets:
- Eugenio Lopez-Chacarra 130-1
The Senior Open Championship — PGA Tour Champions
Best Bet: Thomas Bjørn +4500 (bet365)
It's Open week for the old guys at Carnoustie. Early weather forecasts here looked calm, which is always a bummer for these events, but we'll see how that plays out.
It's going to be tough to beat Padraig Harrington at this one. He was 22nd at Royal Troon last week and had a win last month. He's built for Opens and came in second in his first two tries at the senior version.
It feels inevitable that Harrington grabs one, but I'll bet into him anyway with another Euro stalwart in Thomas Bjørn.
In his first full season on the old guy circuit, he's got three top fives and was also 17th on the DP World Tour a few weeks ago at the BMW International Open.
He's a proven links competitor who probably should have won the 2003 Open if it wasn't for the unfortunate bunker incident on the 16th hole at Royal St George's.
Other The Senior Open Championship Bets:
- Bradley Dredge 80-1
- Peter Baker 80-1
- Greig Hutcheon 200-1
CPKC Women's Open — LPGA
Best Bet: Narin An +4500 (DraftKings)
The LPGA heads north of the boarder for the Canadian Open.
It's a different course this year in Calgary that hasn't been been used for any major events, so we'll just be riding form this week.
That leads me to Narin An, who finished 12th at the Evian Championship two weeks ago.
Prior to that, she also had a fifth and sixth over in her last four starts. There isn't a ton of depth in this field, so that form at this price seems fair.
Other CPKC Women's Open Bets:
- Paula Reto 80-1
- Pajaree Anannarukarn 80-1
- Nanna Koerstz Madsen 100-1
- Ssu-Chia Cheng 150-1
- Pei-Yun Chien 160-1
NV5 Invitational — Korn Ferry Tour
Best Bet: Doc Redman 110-1 (bet365)
It's another week on the Korn Ferry Tour, which has been probably the most frustrating tour this season for me.
Last week was no exception with all four bets within four after Friday, including a solo 36-hole lead, yet we couldn't even manage a top five from anyone. Anyway, we trudge along.
I'll focus on a longshot in Doc Redman at triple digits. He's started to bounced back this year on the lower tour with two top 20s in his last three starts. After four years on the PGA Tour, the 2017 U.S. Amateur winner lost his card. However, he's in position to jump back with a strong week, and one would figure that with his pedigree, he's probably too good for this level of golf.
Now that the form is starting to come around, he could be a threat to pop up with a win.
Other NV5 Invitational Bets:
- Kristoffer Ventura 50-1
- Karl Vilips 70-1
- Nick Gabrelcik 70-1
- Cooper Dossey 125-1
Black Desert NI Open — Challenge Tour
Best Bet: Jack Senior +6600 (BetRivers)
We'll wrap up the week with the Challenge Tour in Northern Ireland at the Black Desert NI Open.
We've seen Galgorm a few times with it being featured on the DP World Tour for events over the past four seasons. The course also held this Challenge Tour event in the past as well, so we have a decent history here.
It's not necessarily a bomber's course. The past two winners were Daniel Brown and Ewen Ferguson, who have some good ball-striking results but aren't overly long.
This week, Jack Senior is my favorite target. He's got a strong track record at Galgorm with four starts all at 28th or better here at the DP World Tour level. He also won the last time the Challenge Tour was here in 2019.
His form has been hit-or-miss this season, but he has made seven of nine cuts overall and does have a second place on the resume back in India. This is a nice price for a guy who has also played well here.
Other Black Desert NI Open Bets:
- Borja Virto 40-1
- Benjamin Hebert 45-1
- Oliver Farr 90-1
- Lucas Bjerregaard 100-1
- Cedric Gugler 100-1
