The West Coast swing is officially over and the PGA Tour now takes its talents to Florida for three straight weeks.
Well, most of the talent is waiting until next week.
After two straight weeks with 19 of the top 20 players in the world in the field, the Honda Classic features just eight of the top 50, according to the Official World Golf Rankings.
Those invested in betting golf week-to-week won't be too disappointed, as this week provides an opportunity to find some value down the board.
But that hasn't deterred bettors from betting on two of the biggest favorites at the Honda Classic.
Sungjae Im is the favorite with +850 odds at BetMGM. Im won this event back in 2020 for his first PGA Tour win. He is the second biggest liability at BetMGM, with 7.2% of the public bets and he accounts for a whopping 15.8% of the handle. Im opened the week with +850 odds.
The other sizable favorite is Shane Lowry at +1600. He is getting significant action as the third-biggest liability. Lowry is getting more public bets than anyone in the field at BetMGM with 7.5% of the tickets. He accounts for 8.3% of the handle.
However, the biggest liability for BetMGM is Billy Horschel. At +2800 odds, Horschel is getting 5.5% of the bets and accounts for 7.3% of the handle.
Im, Horschel and Lowry are ranked No. 18, 19 and 20th in the world, respectively.
Three other names to keep any eye on who are getting interest from bettors include Matt Kuchar, Adam Svensson and Denny McCarthy.
