The Outlook
There may not be a more popular pick to win this week than Justin Rose. And for good reason: The 2013 U.S. Open champion combines everything you could want in terms of recent form — dominating Colonial three weeks ago — and major pedigree. He’s a big enough threat that Bookmaker actually opened with him as the favorite at +1016. I don’t really think there’s too much value in betting him, but if he gets off to a slow start in the first round, the number could dip into the +2000s, and that’s when I’d consider jumping in.
