At the most recent LIV Golf tournament, Carlos Ortiz cashed our third outright winner in just eight LIV Golf events in 2024 when he won at LIV Houston. Ortiz posted rounds of 66-68-67 to win by one at the Golf Club of Houston and get our +2800 ticket to the window.
A few of the LIV players will compete for a third straight week after LIV Houston and the U.S. Open at LIV Nashville this week. Playing three consecutive events is rare for these players and may create an edge on some other golfers.
This week, LIV Golf heads to Nashville for the first time. Not to be confused with Michael Jordan's Grove XXIII, LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman is the designer of The Grove, which hosts LIV Nashville this week.
Luckily, the Korn Ferry Tour played its Simmons Bank Open at The Grove each of the last three years since 2021, so there is some data on this course. In those three tournaments, the winning score has not been lower than -17 over four rounds. Oddly enough, that is one of the tougher courses in terms of score to par on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Scoring will also be tougher this week because LIV Golf will play The Grove as a par-71, whereas the Korn Ferry Tour played it as a par-72. Consequently, this should be one of the toughest LIV Golf courses in terms of the winning score.
The Grove will play around 7,300 yards, which is not overly long. Those who have had success here have driven the ball accurately and hit a high rate of greens in regulation.
With this course not expected to play extremely long or easy, missing fairways and greens could be very penal. Since LIV Golf only plays three rounds, look for the winning score to be in the -10 to -13 range. Below, we will analyze key stats on LIV Golf for LIV Nashville and find ourselves another winner.

LIV Nashville Picks
We have picked three winners season using the 7x ROI Card Construction Structure.
- LIV Vegas: Dustin Johnson +1600
- LIV Miami: Dean Burmester +3200
- LIV Houston: Carlos Ortiz +2800
Jon Rahm +1000
This is one of the first LIV Golf courses that does not look like a pure birdie-fest. Hitting fairways and greens in regulation will be imperative this week instead of simply rolling in birdie putts. This should favor Jon Rahm because the putter has been holding him back this season.
If putting is going to be somewhat diminished while ball-striking will reign supreme, I will gladly buy the dip on Rahm.
I am not worried about the toe injury because if he tees it up, he will be ready to go. He spoke about nearly being ready to tee it up in the U.S. Open but needed a few days to heal up. That week off should do him well.
The top guys on LIV Golf may be drained from the U.S. Open, and this is also the best outright price on Rahm this season. The win is coming, and Rahm is a great selection to get it done in Nashville.
Sergio Garcia +2000
Sergio Garcia clearly fits the bill of a golfer who excels in both hitting fairways off the tee and greens in regulation. He is the only golfer in the entire league in the top five of both categories.
He enters with momentum after finishing in the top five in two of the last four LIV Golf events and played very well at the U.S. Open where he tied for 12th at Pinehurst.
Again, this is the sharpest number on Garcia in some time, but that was also the case for Dean Burmester in Miami and Carols Ortiz in Houston before they each won those respective events.
