The Mexico Open at VidantaWorld tees off on Thursday morning.

Here are a few of my best bets for this weekend's PGA Tour tournament.

Mexico Open Predictions

Akshay Bhatia Top 20 (-110)

Akshay Bhatis comes into this weekend's tournament as the betting favorite at around +1400 odds.

His ball-striking ability and short game bode really well for this course at Vidanta Vallerta.

Despite this, we are getting a great number on the young golfer to finish in the top-20 at the Mexico Open.

Round 1: Patrick Rodgers (-120) Over Aaron Rai

Patrick Rodgers comes into this tournament in great form.

The 32-year-old posted a top-five finish last weekend at the Genesis Invitational and even entered Sunday's final round with the lead.

I expect the Indiana native to continue his strong play in this tournament and so I like him in this Round 1 matchup with Aaron Rai.

Justin Lower Outright Winner (+6500)

My long-shot play of the weekend is on Justin Lower to win the tournament outright. I'm also going to be betting him to finish in the top 20 (+250) and top 40 (-110).

Lower is worth a shot this weekend due to his recent form. He finished the 2024 season with multiple top-25 finishes and even has a T3 finish at The American Express back in January.

At this price, Lower's value is too good to pass up.
