The RBC Heritage tees off for the PGA Tour on Thursday morning from Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, SC.
Scottie Scheffler is the heavy betting favorite to win the RBC Heritage at +360 odds, according to DraftKings. Scheffler is the world's No. 1 ranked player and coming off a fourth place finish at the Masters.
Behind Scheffler on the odds board is a trio of top contenders: Collin Morikawa at +1100, Xander Schauffele at +1200, and Ludvig Aberg at +1200.
Much like Rory McIlroy, we finally got the monkey off our backs at the Masters as we cashed our first outright winner of the season thanks to the Northern Irishman. I typically don't like to victory lap a +650 winner, but I have no choice after such a slow start to the year.
We typically have a hangover the week after The Masters (I'm guessing Rory does since he's not playing this week), but we have a Signature Event with a stacked field this week.
Here are my RBC Heritage picks, featuring three best bets on outright winners.

2025 RBC Heritage Picks
It's hard to believe Collin Morikawa hasn't won since the 2023 ZOZO Championship. The crazy part is that this is the best his short game has ever been. He has gained strokes around the green in 13 of his last 16 events and has gained at least two strokes putting in eight of his last 16 events.
He's been a top-5 machine over the last two years and gained 7.6 strokes ball striking last week at The Masters. He's a perfect fit for Harbour Town, as he hits a lot of fairways, he's an elite iron player, and again, his short game is the best it's ever been.
He's never missed a cut at this event and has two top-10 finishes in his last four starts.
I might end up kicking myself for betting Tommy Fleetwood over Russell Henley this week, but we are getting a better number on Fleetwood.
I know he has never won on the PGA Tour, but he's won seven times on the European Tour. He had a respectable week at The Masters (T21), but it could have been a lot better if not for a bad week on the greens (-4.8 putting).
For Harbour Town, I want golfers who are elite iron players and good scramblers. Those are the strengths of Fleetwood's game.
Wouldn't it be poetic if the week after Rory McIlroy ends the drought, Fleetwood does too?
Daniel Berger has been super consistent over the last six months. In his last 11 starts, he has nine top-30 finishes and two runner-up finishes.
You could argue that he's unlikely to pick up his next win in a stacked field like this, but he's no stranger to playing his best against the top players in the world.
He's gaining strokes in all facets of his game right now and has three top-25 finishes in a row at this event, including a T3.
2025 RBC Heritage Course Preview: Harbour Town Golf Links
The RBC Heritage is held at Harbour Town Golf Links, which is a par-71 that measures 7,213 yards. While I wouldn't call this a true birdie-fest, the winning score has been at least 17-under in four of the last five years.
Like most Pete Dye designs, Harbour Town can't be overpowered off the tee. There are doglegs, overhanging tree limbs, and narrow fairways. This week is much more about accuracy than distance off the tee. The greens here are tiny (3,700 square feet on average) and difficult to hit in regulation. This puts a major emphasis on both approach play and scrambling.
I'm not getting too cute when it comes to course fit this week. Any type of golfer can contend here, but the driver isn't nearly as big of a weapon at this venue as it is at most courses. I'm focusing most of my attention on strokes gained around the green and strokes gained approach.
