The Outlook

Fowler is one of the best players without a major, although he's been close many times. He has at least two top-five finishes in all four majors, and he's been in the top five in two of the past four PGA Championships.

Rickie has a brilliant all-around game and is one of the best par-4 scorers on tour; that bodes well for this week at Bellerive. His to-win odds aren't a great value, but he's an intriguing DFS play, especially if users gravitate toward DJ or Rory.

The Metrics

Here's how Fowler ranks in the PGA Championship field in several key metrics. For many more, be sure to check out the FantasyLabs PGA Models.

  • Long-Term Adjusted Round Score: 5th

  • Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green: 31st
  • Long-Term Driving Distance: T-50th
  • Strokes Gained: Approach: 31st
